The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club Partners, LP is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the La Jolla Shores Hotel. The successful candidate will ensure guest satisfaction through exemplary service, managing a team of front desk clerks, and handling inquiries and complaints effectively.

The La Jolla Shores Hotel Front Desk Supervisor supervises the Front Desk in its day‑to‑day operations and helps ensure overall guest satisfaction by solving problems and providing exemplary customer service.
Hourly Rate: $24.00. Consistently provide professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly service. Promote and follow LJBTC, Inc’s Signature Service standards and requirements to ensure a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in satisfied and loyal members and guests.

Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, managers, guests, or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear; frequently to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; occasionally to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms; must lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to see glare, move objects in field of view, and operate in a dark environment.
This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Shifts will generally be rotated unless you were hired for a specific shift, as much as possible to be fair to everyone. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand. In addition, it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
