Job summary

Westgate Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams to uphold Westgate standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will partner with the General Manager to foster owner relationships and ensure smooth operations.

The role begins part time with training across front desk operations and leadership tasks; there may be future opportunities to move to full time based on needs and performance.

Qualifications

  • Two to five years of customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Written and verbal communication in English is required.
  • Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams to maintain VI Resorts by Westgate standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Partner with the General Manager to foster positive owner relationships and ensure smooth resort operations.
  • Provide support to the General Manager as needed, including assuming their duties in their absence.
  • Supervise Front Desk staff, including scheduling, performance management, and providing hands-on support.
  • Collaborate with department leads to create staff schedules that balance operational needs and budget guidelines.
  • Assist in monitoring resort fiscal performance, preparing monthly variance reports, and submitting invoices for products and services.
  • Support financial operations by preparing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports and aiding in the annual budget process.
  • Represent the resort at HOA meetings and other resort functions as needed.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by resort operations leadership to ensure excellence in service and operations.
  • Oversee all staff functions.
  • Submit invoices for payment of products and services.
  • Submit weekly, bi-weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Attend HOA meetings as needed.
  • Assist General Manager with the preparation of the annual budget.

The Front Desk Supervisor provides dynamic leadership for the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams, driving exceptional resort standards, seamless daily operations, and an unforgettable owner experience. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams to maintain all units and public areas to VI Resorts by Westgate standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Partner with the General Manager to foster positive owner relationships and ensure smooth resort operations.

Resort Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all staff functions.
  • Submit invoices for payment of products and services.
  • Submit weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Attend HOA meetings as needed.
  • Assist General Manager with the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Two to five years of customer service experience.
