Job summary

Summit Hospitality Group hotels are seeking a Front Desk Agent who will check-in and check-out guests and deliver memorable service in alignment with Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton brand standards. You will engage with guests directly, handle guest inquiries, and support daily front desk operations.

This role requires excellent communication, the ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and competence with hotel computer systems.

Qualifications

• Front Desk or Guest Services experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills; ability to lead by example.
• Skilled at hotel computer operations for reservations, reports, and guest services.
• Able to work a variety of shifts and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously at check-in and check-out.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with brand standards.
• Maintain a professional attitude when handling challenges including irate guests.
• Explain necessary information for access to Internet and in-room entertainment at check-in.
• Ensure lobby area is clean, neat, and stocked with brochures and forms.
• Provide local information and directions when asked.
• Assist with ordering supplies and coding invoices for payment.
• Attend required training and complete brand trainings.
