Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Overland Park, KS. You will welcome visitors, verify IDs, manage access, and monitor entry activities at a technology-focused site, delivering courteous customer service and dependable security.

Role emphasizes calm incident response, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with site contacts to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. This position is full-time with varied day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with client requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and direct deliveries, and assist with communications between guests, employees, and appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activities and report suspicious activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
