Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at the Visitor Registration Desk in Lithia Springs, GA. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage badges, assist drivers, and support access control within a logistics and distribution site.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma. A strong customer service orientation and comfort with computers are preferred. Shift is full-time with night hours.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, verifying appointments and identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry records.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries, direct guests to appropriate areas, and report unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per escalation procedures.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming front desk presence and deter unauthorized access while supporting daily facility operations.
