Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in New Albany, OH. You will serve at the front desk, managing access, greeting visitors, and ensuring secure operations while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires two years of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to type 40 WPM. It is a full-time, on-site position with a daytime schedule and a $20.20/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to the facility, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions and information, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence and assist with reporting unusual activity and/or incidents.
