Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Lobby in Colorado Springs, CO. You will greet visitors, monitor access, and provide professional front-desk service at a technology/location setting.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Daytime shifts and a competitive pay rate of $20.42 per hour are offered.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by employer.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment from the front desk, reporting suspicious activity, access concerns, and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, provide directions and general assistance, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of site procedures.
