Job summary

Comstock Companies is seeking a Security Officer: Concierge to manage the front desk in the office lobby, ensuring safety and service standards for guests, tenants, and vendors. The role requires a VA DCJS security certification and strong customer-service skills.

Flexibility to work after hours and weekends is required. Daily reporting and incident handling are key duties in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer-service related job.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends, as needed.
• Must be a certified security professional (VA Unarmed Security Officer/Courier, aka DCJS) within 60 days of start/transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Provide elevator assistance and door assistance to all guests.
• Provide customer service and assistance to clients, customers, and visitors.
• Daily activity report, access control reports, and incident reports daily.
• Observation and reporting of all safety concerns.
• Patrol the common areas.
• Directly oversees all day-to-day activities associated with opening, managing, and closing the facility.
