Job summary

Allied Universal in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge to provide professional, responsive service for tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location.

You will manage access control, monitor lobby cameras, answer inquiries, and document security-related activities while upholding site procedures and safety standards. This full-time role offers daytime shift coverage with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor access records, and communicate entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, and security-related cameras as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and notification procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general site information, and maintain accurate logs and reports for security-related activities.
