Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer for a chemical manufacturing site in the United States. The role covers customer service to clients, visitors, and employees from the front desk during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities include verifying visitor credentials, issuing temporary access, maintaining records, taking calls, coordinating arrivals, and relaying access-related information to site contacts and leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at the front desk of a chemical manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access by verifying visitor credentials, issuing temporary access credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Receive incoming calls, coordinate visitor arrivals, and communicate access-related information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate front-desk documentation, report unusual activity or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent access-control practices.
