Job summary

Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Officer Reception Access Coordinator to greet employees and visitors, support access control and badge issuance, monitor entry activity and respond to incidents with professionalism and discretion on a technology campus.

The role is full-time, with a night schedule and paid at $22.28 per hour; candidates should have 3+ years of security or related experience, a high school diploma, and be able to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology campus by following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, and direct guests per access-control procedures.
• Monitor visitor management systems, access-control activity, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and shift documentation with clear information for the site community.
