Job summary

Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) is seeking a part-time Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first contact for clients, families, guests, and community members at ITA's Evanston Clinic. This role supports client experience, daily office operations, scheduling, payments, and filing in a modern nonprofit clinic.

The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and detail-oriented, with experience in healthcare or mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist role or administrative assistant role.
• Experience with customer relations in a health care or mental health setting.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients; collect payments and answer questions about intake and accounts.
• Communicate service needs and issues to Office Manager and Clinical Management for quality care.
• Set up rooms and prepare materials for meetings; greet guests and assist with donor events.
• Maintain client files and collect initial paperwork.
• Perform light housekeeping and keep common areas organized.
• Support special projects as directed by the CEO.
• Manage inventories of office and marketing materials; assist with orders.
• Support staff with calendars, appointments, and rescheduling.
