Job Summary

Synergy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)/Medical Receptionist to join the team at our thriving clinic. As a PCC, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payments. It will also involve direct patient interaction assisting in taking vitals and getting them set up in treatment rooms. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities

Greet customers as they arrive and provide an excellent customer experience

Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

Use an EMR system to facilitate patient needs and records

Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms

Maintain a clean and inviting environment

Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services

Verify patient insurance benefits

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience as a front office medical receptionist or a similar role is preferred

Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Familiar with computers and scheduling software

Excellent multi-tasking skills
