Goldfish Swim School - Rockville is seeking a Front Desk Representative to deliver WOW customer service to our members. Paid training, set shifts, and no late nights ensure a stable schedule. We value bilingual speakers and require weekday morning, evening, and weekend availability to be considered.

Serious applicants should commit to at least 3 shifts per week, including one weekend day. Join a team that believes in making a difference, wearing flip flops by the pool, and rewarding hard work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Two years of customer service and/or administrative office experience required.
• Intermediate level computer skills with Word, Excel, and other software systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones, take messages, screen and direct calls professionally.
• Process student registrations using sales/customer service techniques.
• Provide facility tours and explain the program to families.
• Resolve member concerns/complaints professionally.
• Greet parents and students at check-in for lessons.
• Maintain front desk, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area cleanliness.
• Handle email correspondence timely and professionally.
• Provide occasional administrative support to management.
• Help prepare documentation and reports for pool staff.
• Enforce safety rules and administer first aid when necessary.

Front Desk Representative - Starting Pay $19-21 / Hour

Paid training, set shifts, no late nights!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages, and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.

• Greets parents and students as they check in for lessons..
• Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, changing areas, restrooms and observation area throughout the shift.
• Handles email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
• Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Helps prepare all documentation and reports for pool staff.
• Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
• Two years previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required.
• Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.

Certifications and licenses:

• Willing to obtain/maintain current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire.
• If you are not yet certified, we offer classes at our location (paid training)!

Available Shifts:

• Weekday Mornings: 9am - 2:30pm
• Weekday Evenings: 2:30 - 8pm
• Weekends: 8:30am - 3:30pm
