Job Summary

ASC Annapolis is seeking a FT Front Desk Receptionist for a busy, multispecialty Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC). United Surgical Partners International specializes in developing and operating ambulatory surgical facilities in the U.S. and the UK, providing first-class surgical services and valuing employees as top assets.

Responsibilities
  • Interface with patients, families, physicians, and staff
  • Admit patients and process paperwork
  • Update patient demographics in the system
  • Collect payments and document in billing system
  • Handle funds according to office procedures
  • Answer incoming phone calls

Compensation

Pay Range: Min $18.00 - Max $22.92 per hour. Wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of previous experience or hospital clerical/medical terminology experience preferred
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Typing skills of 45 wpm
  • Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
  • Bilingual skills preferred
