CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support front desk operations, greet patients, verify insurance, manage referrals, and handle payments with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Recent customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience, familiarity with basic medical terminology, and fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and build rapport through in-person and phone interactions.
• Screen and answer incoming calls promptly; take messages, and relay information as needed.
• Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits and advise patients on financial responsibilities.
• Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations.
• Scan insurance cards and paperwork into patient files.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles, balance daily collections, and submit charges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces.
