Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative for full-time night and weekend shifts at a Grantsville, WV hospital location.

You will handle patient registration, verify insurance, assist with appointments, and communicate financial information to patients with accuracy and empathy. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, experience in front-office or healthcare access, and adherence to HIPAA and privacy standards to ensure a smooth patient

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior patient access/registration or front office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance types, coverage verification preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn EHR systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and provide courteous, accurate assistance.
• Registers patients in the EHR with complete demographics, insurance, and consent information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations at or before service.
• Identifies coverage discrepancies and escalates to Supervisor.
• Collects forms, signatures, and payments per MHHS policies.
• Explains financial responsibilities, copays, deductibles, and assistance options.
• Schedules, confirms, and updates patient appointments.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Coordinates with clinical departments and billing to support patient flow.
• Documents interactions and follow-up accurately in the system.
• Responds to patient questions with professionalism and empathy.
