Job summary

The Fitness Equation is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to be the first face members, guests, and staff see when entering our club. You will greet with a smile, maintain a welcoming attitude, and attend to members’ needs with exceptional service.

Responsibilities include answering calls, checking in members, coordinating with departments, updating billing, and guiding guests through the club while maintaining floor cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completed H.S. diploma/GED minimum.
• Ability to communicate professionally and provide problem solving information.
• Ability to initiate task management and keep control of front desk during slow and peak times.
• Interest in and passion for physical fitness.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Greets members, guests, and staff with enthusiasm and a friendly attitude.
• Answer telephones, transfer calls, take messages, set appointments, and communicate professionally.
• Check in members and guests and transition them to other departments.
• Update member billing information and transfer interviewees and guests to meeting locations.
• Maintain exercise floor, equipment, and facility cleanliness.
• Give tours and discuss membership pricing with prospective members.
