Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Our mission is to provide our patients with an experience that they find hard to believe. Our drive is to ensure that patients seeking exceptional care can access it. As a medical receptionist, you will be the first person to set the trajectory of the patient’s experience. We rely on our receptionists to set the team up for success. From ensuring patient data is entered correctly to greeting patients with a warm smile, you will be the first point of contact.

We need someone who enjoys talking with people and is efficient in their duties. Whether answering phones or directing patients within the office, we expect our receptionists to perform confidently and with a smile. Handling multiple concerns and prioritizing tasks effectively are essential skills.

Duties
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the healthcare providers' calendar.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Process calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Manage office supplies and keep the reception area organized.
  • Use office management software for record keeping.
Qualifications
  • Previous front desk experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of healthcare office procedures.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
