Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion and/or 1 year experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in/check-out processes.
• General medical office procedures knowledge.
• Understand end-of-day cash balancing and charge reconciliation.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage communications with patients, insurers and medical staff.
• Work at the front desk or office area of the clinic.
• Handle patient check-in and check-out according to clinic protocol.
