Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or 1 year MA/Medical Office Specialist experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out process according to clinic protocol.
• General medical office procedures.
• End-of-day cash balancing and charge reconciliation knowledge.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include front desk duties.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out according to clinic protocol.
• Support cash handling and charge reconciliation per clinic procedures.
• Coordinate with insurers and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
