This opportunity is ideal for an experienced hospitality leader who can oversee front desk, concierge, and valet operations while fostering a polished, attentive, and service-focused environment. Based in Galveston, Texas, you will play a key role in developing associates, strengthening guest relations, and supporting seamless hotel operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline front desk, concierge, and valet associates.
  • Ensure compliance with pre-shift previews and established front office procedures.
  • Conduct front office interviews and follow all applicable hiring procedures.
  • Build associate morale and coordinate effective training for front office team members.
  • Participate in the required Manager on Duty program as scheduled.
  • Review front office hours for payroll accuracy and submit information to accounting on time.
  • Prepare employee schedules based on business forecasts, payroll budgets, and productivity requirements.
  • Maintain professional communication with managers, employees, and other departments while ensuring guests are warmly welcomed at the concierge desk and valet stand.
Must-Have Skills:
  • At least four years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in front office, guest services, concierge, or valet operations.
  • Strong knowledge of front office operations and guest relations.
  • Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and word-processing applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and motivate hospitality associates.
  • Commitment to attentive, friendly, efficient, and courteous guest service.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working in a luxury hotel or Five Diamond environment.
  • Background overseeing front desk, concierge, and valet teams simultaneously.
  • Experience with hotel property management systems and workforce scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of payroll administration, labor budgeting, and productivity management.
  • Experience participating in Manager on Duty programs and cross-departmental hotel operations.
