Job description

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to join the Small Fish Big Fish Swim School and Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics team as a front‑desk associate in Jensen Beach. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, client communication, and facility support for swim and gymnastics programs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients in-person, on the phone, and via written correspondence to schedule trials, lessons, and answer inquiries.
• Assist with enrollment, registration, and tuition collection to support program growth.
• Educate customers about current and new services and guide them toward suitable purchases.
• Coordinate with the Gymnastics Manager and Aquatics Manager to ensure safe flow of the front‑desk area and monitor entry/exit for classes.
• Conduct facility walk‑throughs during idle times to maintain cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Maintain accurate member records and process payments using computer software.
• Support smooth shift transitions and help the team achieve quarterly goals.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties such as cleaning bathrooms, changing rooms, pool deck, gymnastics equipment, and front‑desk area, and following the Emergency Action Plan.

Qualifications

• Some college education.
• At least 2 years of customer‑service and/or sales experience.
• Experience working with children ages 6 months to 9 years preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High energy, adaptability, and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability to work Saturdays and the specified days between 9 am–6 pm or 10 am–7 pm.

Salary and Hours

• Full‑time: 32–40 hours per week.
• Hourly pay: $14.50.
