Job summary

Park District of Highland Park is seeking a Front Desk Representative to manage front desk operations and deliver exceptional customer service in a busy pickleball and recreation facility.

The role handles registrations, memberships, daily fees, and POS transactions, with shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants must be 21+ and obtain BASSET certification within three months. Part-time, non-exempt, with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ and BASSET certified within the first 3 months of employment.
• Background in customer service and cash handling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate front desk during shift and provide excellent customer service.
• Process registrations, memberships, and daily fees in Plan2Play and POS.
• Check in members/guests and balance cash drawers at shift start/end.
• Open/close facility and respond to emergencies or inquiries.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate issues to team.
