Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Service Desk Associate to greet customers, handle transactions, and assist with day-to-day front-end duties at our Mount Union location. You'll operate the register, assist customers with inquiries, and help maintain a clean, organized desk area in a fast-paced retail setting.

Prior experience is not required, but strong customer service skills and the ability to follow store policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED completed or in progress.

• Ability to follow company policies and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers cheerfully and answer questions to the best of ability.
• Handle cashiering, including cash, checks, debit/credit slips and coupons.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, bag merchandise.
• Maintain desk area and logs for store compliance policies.
• Follow tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines and store policies.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operation.
