Job summary

The YMCA of the East Bay seeks an On-Call Residence Custodial & Desk Representative to maintain clean, safe areas throughout the facility and to support front desk operations for residents and members.

Responsibilities include handling check-ins/outs, assisting during emergencies, coordinating with maintenance, and keeping the Front Desk Log accurate. On-call shifts include morning and overnight coverage, with potential for future openings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Good communication skills verbally and in writing with diverse groups.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and other office programs.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality, customer service and safety assistance to residents and members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station/front desk and understand Front Desk procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance and custodial staff and assist during emergencies.
• Check in and check out residents and guests and record details in the Front Desk Log Book.
