Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, is looking for a full-time experienced Front Desk Coordinator to join our South Windsor Care Center. Responsibilities
  • Providing Remarkable Patient Experience: scheduling visits, confirming appointments, updating insurance and demographic info, answering calls, and documenting in Epic EMR.
  • Attention to Detail: managing electronic messages and alerts accurately.
  • Team Collaboration: assisting with EMR questions and administrative tasks.
  • Processing insurance authorizations as needed.
  • Monitoring provider schedules and correcting errors.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • 3+ years of professional experience, including front desk in a medical setting
  • Experience with EMR systems; Epic experience is a plus
Additional Details

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $18.00/hour, depending on experience

Education & Experience

  • Entry level (1-4 years) or meeting basic job requirements with supervision
  • Knowledge of clinic policies, computer applications, and basic arithmetic
  • Skills in operating office equipment, handling paperwork, communication, and organizing tasks
