Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of administrative experience preferred.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors; determine the nature of visit and direct to the appropriate team member.
• Answer, screen, and route calls; take messages as needed.
• Verify insurance information and update patient charts and information.
• Schedule appointments; manage reminders and reschedule as necessary.
• Process payments and post to accounts; coordinate payment arrangements when needed.

How you’ll make us better:

• Greet and receive customers, determines nature of visit, and notifies appropriate team member(s). Performs various administrative duties. Welcomes visitors to the practice and provides information about clinic features Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and takes messages as needed Checks-in and collects general information from patients on their first visit Verifies insurance information Notifies clinicians of patient arrival and readiness Make appointments for returning patients as necessary Prints/reprints appointment reminders and school/work excuses May make changes to the patient schedule as necessary Coordinates payment arrangements or account resolution Receives, stores, and delivers shipments and mail Takes payments and posts to account Updates charts and patient information Drives internal marketing initiatives and fosters participation from everyone
