Smile Doctors in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator I to join our growing team. You will greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, verify insurance, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role involves administrative duties, scheduling, and handling payments, while delivering friendly, professional service in a fast-paced dental practice. Strong communication and bilingual abilities are required, with a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of administrative experience preferred.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors, determine nature of visit, and notify appropriate team member.
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and information updates.
• Verify insurance information and collect payments or set up payment arrangements.
• Answer and screen calls, route inquiries, and take messages as needed.
• Print appointment reminders and manage school/work excuses as required.
• Coordinate patient flow, including arrivals and readiness with clinicians.
• Update charts and patient information, and handle mail and shipments.

How you’ll make us better:

• Greet and receive customers, determines nature of visit, and notifies appropriate team member(s).
• Performs various administrative duties.
• Welcomes visitors to the practice and provides information about clinic features.
• Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and takes messages as needed.
• Checks-in and collects general information from patients on their first visit.
• Verifies insurance information.
• Notifies clinicians of patient arrival and readiness.
• Make appointments for returning patients as necessary.
• Prints/reprints appointment reminders and school/work excuses.
• May make changes to the patient schedule as necessary.
• Coordinates payment arrangements or account resolution.
• Receives, stores, and delivers shipments and mail.
• Takes payments and posts to account.
• Updates charts and patient information.
• Drives internal marketing initiatives and fosters participation from everyone.
