Job description

We are looking for a Front Desk Clerk (2nd shift 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm and a 3rd shift 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am) for a new hotel located in Prattville, Al that is paying $14 an hour! The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, checking them in and out, answering inquiries and ensuring a positive guest experience while also handling admin tasks like processing payments and managing reservations.

What You’ll Do :

  • Greet guests professionally upon arrival.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Answer guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel, amenities, and local area.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Process guest reservations, including making changes and cancellations.
  • Manage room assignments and availability.
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

What You’ll Need :

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hotel reservation systems and other computer software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The pay rate for the Front Desk Clerk is $14 / hour depending on experience and skill sets. Shifts available are 2nd shift 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm and a 3rd shift 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am.
