Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Professionally greet members and guests
  2. Scan membership IDs upon entrance
  3. Answer phones professionally
  4. Respond to member questions, concerns, and discrepancies
  5. Update members’ accounts as needed
  6. Maintain an orderly and clean work area
  7. Work opening, closing, or mid-day shifts
  8. Provide club tours to new members
  9. Deliver high-level customer service to members, prospective members, and guests
  10. Assist other departments with related tasks

Qualifications

Attributes of the successful candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or related field
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Reliable, professional, computer-literate, energetic, and friendly
  • Interest in health, fitness, or sports preferred
  • Friendly, vibrant, outgoing personality
  • Effective communication skills in person, email, and phone

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods, sit, walk, squat, stoop, reach, and bend above/below shoulder height
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
