Job summary

Equinox is seeking a friendly front desk/guest services associate at our Plano, TX club. You will greet members, answer phones, assist with questions, and update member accounts with a focus on exceptional service.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and a proactive, energetic attitude. Computer literacy is essential; complimentary club membership and access to fitness services are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in customer service or related role.
• Friendly, energetic, professional demeanor with strong people skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in person, by email, and by phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a professional manner.
• Answer phones and respond to member questions or concerns.
• Update members' accounts as needed and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with opening/closing or mid-day shifts as needed.
• Offer tours to members and prospective members.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to members and guests.
• Support other departments with related tasks when required.

Job Description

• Professionally greet members and guests
• Answer phones professionally
• Respond to member questions, concerns and discrepancies
• Update members' accounts if needed
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area
• Ability to work opening/closing/mid-day shifts
• Ability to tour members
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests
• Aid other departments with other related tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in customer service or related experience
• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent work experience
• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
• Preferably interested in health, fitness, and/or sports
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
• Must be able to effectively communicate in person, via email, and via phone

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing for long periods of time, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height
• Must be able to perform pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50lbs at a time
