Job summary

Equinox is seeking energetic Front Desk Associates in New York to warmly greet members and guests, scan IDs at entry, answer phones, and respond to questions.

You will maintain member accounts, keep a clean workspace, support other departments, and work openings, closings, or mid-day shifts. This role offers $17.00/hr with perks including complimentary membership and access to training programs.

Qualifications

• Reliable, professional and computer literate with a friendly demeanor.
• Energetic and able to greet members with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills for in-person, email, and phone interactions.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet members and guests.

• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.

Job Description

Pay Transparency

$17.00/hr

Qualifications

• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
• Preferably interested in health, fitness, and/or sports
• Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
• Must be able to effectively communicate in person, via email, and via phone

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing for long periods of time, sitting, constantly walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height
• Must be able to perform pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50lbs at a time
