This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, including processing guest check-ins, member retention, and maintaining quality customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute procedures as outlined by the front desk manual.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls.
  • Be knowledgeable of club amenities and surroundings.
  • Communicate kindly and sincerely, using members' names.
  • Attend all staff and club meetings and events.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff.
  • Ensure the front desk is clean, maintained, and organized at all times.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
Expectations:
  • Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs.
  • Provide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from members.
Job Requirements:
  • Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Experience in cash handling and credit card transactions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Effective communication with guests and staff, including reading, writing, and speaking.
