Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs LLC in Farmington Hills, MI is hiring a front desk sales associate to welcome guests, greet and acknowledge every visitor, and drive member growth through outstanding service.

You will work Monday-Thursday 5 pm–midnight and Friday 3 pm–9 pm, with starting pay $15/hour plus commission and clear opportunities for career growth. Candidates should be ready to commit for at least one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum or no specific education required; proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Strong energy, enthusiasm and a passion for fitness.
• Ability to work with urgency and flexible hours, including month-end closeouts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every guest with a friendly hello and goodbye.
• Strive to improve member experience, revenues and retention rates.
• Maintain product knowledge and information on merchandise and services.
• Accurately and efficiently process sales at POS and manage cash when needed.
• Capitalize on every phone call and walk-in, turning prospects into members.
• Master the tour to build excitement and value for potential members.

What You'll Do

• Bring The Edge culture to life by ensuring each guest receives outstanding service by providing a guest friendly environment by greeting and acknowledging every guest, saying "hello" and "goodbye", while maintaining outstanding standards.
• Strive to continuously improve the member experience, revenues and retention rates.
• Maintain solid product knowledge and awareness of all product information, merchandise and services.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintains proper cash accountabilities at POS registers.
• Understands the opportunities of the business: every phone call, prospects walking through the door, in and out of the club.
• Master the tour and build excitement and value with potential new members to ensure an awesome first impression
