Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable 2nd Shift Front Desk Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest service during the afternoon and evening hours. You will be the face of the hotel, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a customer-first attitude
  • Manage reservations via phone, online booking systems, and walk-ins
  • Handle payment transactions, process charges, and balance cash drawers
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Monitor lobby and entrance areas for cleanliness and guest needs
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and security procedures
  • Assist with administrative tasks and reports as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with front desk software Fosse
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs if needed
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasionally cover other shifts
