Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a friendly, driven Front Desk and Sales Associate to greet families, guide enrollment, and support our Spanish-speaking client base. This part-time, non-exempt role requires evening and weekend availability, basic computer skills, and CPR/First Aid certifications we provide.

You’ll handle check-ins, answer phones, drive outbound sales, and ensure a welcoming, organized front desk area with great customer service at the core.

Qualifications

• A natural communicator comfortable on the phone and in person with families from all backgrounds.
• Willing to learn new software; training provided on company systems.
• Organized, dependable, and proactive about following through on tasks and commitments.
• Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications must be obtained through Goldfish Swim School.
• Evening and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member and family warmly at check-in and make them feel welcomed from the moment they walk through the door.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and conduct outbound sales calls to prospective members with a positive, confident approach.
• Guide families through the student registration process using effective sales and customer service techniques.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, with a solution driven approach.
• Assist families with merchandise and vending purchases.
• Make calls to resolve open account issues with professionalism and care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front desk, snack area, changing rooms, restrooms, and lobby area.
• Enforce safety rules and administer first aid when necessary.

We’re looking for a friendly, driven, and detail-oriented Front Desk and Sales Associate to be the welcoming face of our Front Desk. This is a people-first role - you’ll connect with prospective and current members every single day and guide families through enrollment. Spanish-speaking preference

• Spanish-speaking ability preferred to support our Spanish-speaking customer base.
• Availability for mornings, daytime hours, and weekends is preferred.
