The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll handle transactions, offer local insights, and anticipate guest needs to ensure a friction-free experience. You’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Providing a warm welcome that starts a memorable guest experience.
  2. Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
  3. Managing guest bookings, upselling opportunities, and informing guests about ways to enhance their stay.
  4. Handling cash and credit transactions.
  5. Checking guests in and out efficiently, including ID verification, issuing keys, and managing safety deposit boxes.
  6. Recording and acting on guest preferences, and managing messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
  7. Being a trusted contact for guests, assisting with billing issues and local knowledge, and involving management when necessary.
  8. Following safety procedures, reporting incidents, and wearing protective gear as needed.
  9. Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the brand positively.
  10. Staying informed about daily events and activities.
  11. Assisting colleagues with ad-hoc duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle guest concerns and compliments.
  3. Problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities for positive experiences.
  4. Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.
  5. Proficiency in reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.
  6. Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a bonus.
  8. At least one year of experience in front desk or guest service roles preferred.
  9. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs, with bending and kneeling as needed.
