AvantStay is seeking a Front Desk Agent to manage on-site guest check-ins and support market operations. The role involves handling deliveries, organizing supplies, linen tracking, and assisting vendors and field teams to ensure flawless arrivals.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, with excellent communication skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. The position is onsite with varied shift times, including early and late hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live check-ins for arriving guests, being the first impression of the company.

• Communicate with field teams about arrivals and guest requests.
• Use technology to release check-in instructions and close Live Check-In cases in Salesforce.
• Maintain office and storeroom spaces and assist with general operations.

What We Are Looking For...

The Front Desk Agent is the face of AvantStay and our boots on the ground at our market office location. This is one of the most versatile roles at the company and perfect for anyone who loves being on the go and finds fulfillment in serving our guests. The Front Desk Agent's primary responsibility will be facilitating in person guest check-ins. In addition they will be responsible for managing all aspects of the office from handling deliveries, organizing supplies, documenting par levels of linens/supplies in storage, and at times providing support to the local teams and vendors with market operations. The ideal Front Desk Agent is detail oriented and thrives on problem-solving issues. This person will primarily work onsite at the office to ensure guest check ins are flawless, while at times performing inspections or team support during not peak arrival days. Candidate must be able to work shifts 7am-3pm and 3-11pm.

What You'll Do...

• Conduct live check-ins for our arriving guests. You are often the first impression and face of the company.
• Receive, organize and stock deliveries of housekeeping and operational supplies.
• Lift, move, unpack and do the more "unglamorous" sides of organization of the office and storeroom.
• Guide guests through the AvantStay experience, ensuring they have an amazing first impression
• Stay in constant communication with the field team with updates on guest's arrivals and requests.
• Utilize our technology to release check in instructions and close out "Live Check-In" cases in Salesforce.
• Assist with inventory duties such as preparing items for the field team, receiving deliveries, and tracking linen/consumables use
• Maintain and organize gathering spaces including office, and surrounding area.

• Focused, hard-working and willing to do what it takes for us to reach the next stage.
• Experience in real estate, hospitality and/or tech is a plus.
• Ability to understand and convey both business issues and technical concepts
• Capable of quickly learning new software systems
• Must be based in the Austin area and willing to work some weekends and some evenings full time.
