Front Desk Agent/Hilton Minneapolis Airport

Job Details
  • Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel. Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
  • Promptly, accurately, and efficiently post all charges.
  • Have complete working knowledge of Front Office computer or manual systems, including all daily transactions, even those performed infrequently.
  • Manage cash handling accurately, including receiving cash, checks, and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making correct change.
  • Review reservations with special requests and work to block rooms accordingly.
  • Understand hotel rates, discounts, and procedures for handling each.
  • Be familiar with reservation procedures, including taking same-day reservations within approximately 2 minutes, and follow cancellation and relocation procedures when necessary.
What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintain full knowledge of Front Office systems and transactions.
  • Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments accurately, and give correct change.
  • Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
  • Understand hotel rates, discounts, and procedures.
  • Take reservations, including same-day bookings, efficiently, and follow cancellation and relocation protocols.

Salary range starts at $16.00-17.50/hr, based on experience. Full-time associates are eligible for group health insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life), Parental Maternity Leave, 401k, and Paid Time Off. The employer reserves the right to adjust pay based on factors unrelated to sex or race.
