Job Responsibilities
  1. Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
  2. Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room locations.
  3. Answer phones courteously and promptly.
  4. Upsell rooms to maximize hotel revenue where possible.
  5. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with procedures.
  6. Manage guest safe-deposit boxes.
  7. Communicate guest requests or issues to management for follow-up.
  8. Respond to guest complaints with appropriate service recovery gestures.
  9. Book guest reservations, process cancellations, and update information as needed.
  10. Coordinate with other departments to promote teamwork and service quality.
  11. Perform additional duties such as guest room tours, concierge services, and handling special requests.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • At least one year of front desk/guest service experience.
  • Fluent English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to stand frequently, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle objects and computer equipment.
  • Proficiency in using property management and reservation systems.
  • Strong communication, reading, writing, and basic math skills.
  • Problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
