As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

Job Overview:

Check-in/out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
  2. Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
  3. Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room locations.
  4. Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
  5. Accurately process all cash/credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned bank.
  6. Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
  7. Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  8. Book routine guest reservations for individuals/groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
  9. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications with other departments.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/guest service experience preferred. Must speak fluent English.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

  1. Frequently standing up behind front desk.
  2. Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  3. Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.
  4. Reading and writing abilities are used often.
  5. Basic math skills are used often.
  6. Will have to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $17.75.
