Job summary

Kingsbury of Tahoe (Stateline, NV) is hiring a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, check in/out, handle reservations, and resolve issues with a professional, friendly demeanor. You will coordinate with housekeeping and engineering to meet guest needs while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires basic math, cash handling, strong communication, and the ability to operate front desk systems in a fast-paced setting. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Process payments, settle folios, and post charges accurately.
  • Handle reservations, confirmations, and modifications efficiently.

  • Uphold standards reflecting the property's brand image.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping/Engineering to meet guest needs.
  • Enter and track work orders and inspections in Asgard.
  • Promote room upgrades and resort services with enthusiasm.

Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the welcoming face of our resort and a trusted resource for our guests. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a positive experience, whether you're assisting with check-ins, providing local recommendations, answering questions, or helping resolve concerns. In this role, you'll combine outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to help make every stay memorable and exceed guest expectations.

As a Front Desk Agent, You Will:

  • Warmly greet guests, manage check-in and check-out processes, and assign accommodations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide personalized assistance by answering inquiries, offering recommendations, and following up promptly when additional information is required.
  • Take ownership of guest concerns and resolve issues professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and service recovery.
  • Perform cashiering functions, including settling folios, processing payments, and posting charges accurately.
  • Handle reservations, confirmations, and modifications with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Communicate professionally with guests through phone, email, text, and in-person interactions.
  • Uphold service standards, property guidelines, and professional appearance standards that reflect the property's brand image.
  • Partner with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest and owner needs are met seamlessly.
  • Enter, assign, monitor, update, and complete work orders and inspections in Asgard, ensuring all tasks and operational activities are accurately documented, tracked, and completed.
  • Actively promote room upgrades, property amenities, and resort services while maintaining an approachable, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor in every guest interaction.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and property management or operational systems.
  • Knowledge of hotel front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest services.
  • Understanding of guest privacy, confidentiality, and service excellence standards.
  • Willingness to learn and follow company systems, safety procedures, operational processes, and brand standards.
