Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent guest service and strive to amaze guests.
  • Greet guests with a smile, maintain eye contact, and offer prompt service.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Solicit feedback from guests to improve service.
  • Register guests, verify reservations, and process payments efficiently.
  • Manage cash, deposits, and currency exchange accurately.
  • Control access to safety deposit boxes and post charges as needed.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly.
  • Answer calls courteously and efficiently.
  • Assist with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Operate shuttle services and assist with luggage as needed.
  • Be knowledgeable about local area and hotel services.
  • Handle messages, wake-up calls, and mail properly.
  • Assist guests with laundry and dry cleaning services.
  • Be aware of VIP guests and special requests.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures.
  • Upsell rooms and promote hotel amenities to increase revenue.
  • Verify guest information and credit details during check-in.
  • Complete shift reports and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Stay updated on hotel developments and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Follow emergency procedures and ensure guest security.
  • Book reservations and assist guests proactively.
  • Maintain professionalism, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and accept feedback.
  • Maintain punctuality and provide adequate notice for absences.
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Participate in training and adhere to company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
