Summary

The Front Desk Agent greets guests, registers them, verifies reservations, and assists with questions or complaints.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet and register guests in a friendly manner
  • Assist with reservations, pre-registrations, and room blocking
  • Help large groups upon arrival
  • Guide guests to local dining, shopping, and attractions
  • Handle and resolve guest issues promptly
  • Process payments according to procedure
  • Upsell additional facilities and services
  • Perform check-out tasks
  • Ensure all cash, checks, and credit card balances are accurate at shift end
  • Answer guest questions and cater to their needs
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve guest concerns
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Experience with hotel reservation software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows
  • Outgoing, friendly, and guest-focused
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs occasionally
