Pyramid Global Hospitality invites you to join Wayfinder Bishop as a Front Desk Agent. You’ll greet guests, register arrivals, and be the first point of contact for questions about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Outgoing and engaging personality.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Computer skills required for check-in and hotel systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and register guests, serving as the knowledge source for the hotel and local area.
• Create a welcoming first impression and WOW guests with exceptional service.
• Assist guests in discovering opportunities to experience the property and surrounding area.
• Provide exceptional customer service with genuine engagement and interest.
• Record accurate information, fulfill special requests, and ensure proper credit is applied.
• Resolve issues and recover guest satisfaction when things aren’t right.
• Promote and sell hotel programs and services.
• Coordinate with other departments and relay important information to the manager on duty.

What you will have an opportunity to do

• We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our Front Desk team. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests. While checking in, registering guests, the Front Desk Agent is a source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area.

• Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience
• Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
• Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
• Help to resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
• Promote and sell special hotel programs.
• Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
• Maintain house bank.
• Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty.
• Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
• Assist other departments as needed.
