The role manages greetings, transactions, plant guidance, and order handling with attention to accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Yard and Sales teams, balancing multiple transactions, and supporting the sales staff with estimates and orders.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence handling live customer transactions.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and processes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage walk-in customers in a professional and service-driven manner.
• Assess customer needs and guide plant selection.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS and inventory systems.
• Support will-call check-in and order pickup.
• Provide product availability, specifications, and location guidance.
• Communicate with Yard staff to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
• Support the Sales Team with estimates and order entry as needed.
• Determine wholesale vs. non-wholesale status for trade customers.
