Qualifications

• Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable using a POS system, cash register, and tablet.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling ability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately.
• Process cash, credit card, gift card, and mobile payments.
• Provide correct change and receipts.
• Confirm order details, pricing, quantities, and special requests.
• Package and bag orders carefully and accurately.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and restaurant policies.
• Recommend menu items, sides, drinks, and add-ons when appropriate.
• Handle basic customer concerns and involve a manager when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked front counter.
• Balance the cash register and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with restocking, cleaning, and other front-of-house responsibilities.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and management team.
