Actalent is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its Quality Control team in Portage, WI. This entry to mid-level role is ideal for individuals with manufacturing, food production, or packaging experience who want to move into a laboratory setting.

Training is provided, and you’ll gain hands-on experience ensuring product quality and safety. The position is based in PORTAGE, WI, onsite with a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, quality, or related environments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
• Comfortable working with data, documentation, and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in learning laboratory techniques and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing
• Perform routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Record and review test results following established procedures
• Communicate results with production and quality teams
• Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment
• Support daily laboratory operations and continuous improvement initiatives
