Job summary

Hy-Vee in Holdrege, NE seeks a Stocker to keep shelves full and organized, unload trucks, stock products, and assist customers throughout the day. You’ll help maintain a tidy store and provide friendly service.

No prior experience is required; Hy-Vee provides training. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and you should be able to stay active and work at a steady pace in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items throughout the store.
• Assist customers with locating products, handling heavy purchases, and relay feedback to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure freshness on the sales floor.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, stockouts, and incorrect deliveries and report issues.
• Organize stock efficiently and clean damaged items; restock as needed.
• Tag shelves with overstock and assist in backroom organization.
• Operate the register for customer purchases as needed.
• Stock department supplies and support front-end operations.
• Assist with outside maintenance and store cleaning tasks as required.
• Train new stockers on job duties and safety procedures.
